  1. went to 100 fow water 2 of us limited out 5 steels and 5 kings! 10-11. lost a steelie at the boat. moonshine RV bloody nose and moonshine RV green flounder pounder mag mixed veggie were smoking. had 3 kings over 20# the steelies were 8-10# was a blast. setting the RV flounder back in the was and didnt even get it hooked to the rigger and a steelie come up and grabbed it off the top of the water.. seems no matter how deep or what set up your putting down the fish are going crazy!! Everything we caught were on riggers anywhere from 40 to 95 down.. :thumb:

  2. we set lines in 100 fow. running nothing but riggers. we stayed in 80 to 100 fow. best being in the 90s. went 5 for 6. 4 kings 1 coho with a really nice king breaking the line again. all fish came deep on the riggers. 95 down bringing the most. finally put more than 3 fish in the boat.. by far best trip so far for us new guys:D

95 down ms green flounder pounder - break off king

95 down ms RV green flounder pounder - 2 kings

95 down caramel spin doctor with ms blood nose fly - 1 king

85 down uv flasher with mirage fly - king

85 down BLL glow gorge spoon- Coho

we were running 4 riggers but the other two had a few short strike up high but no hook ups. we took fish in all different directions. speed was 2.8-3.1 gps

  3. We got out early saturday morning. went north of the pier heads. set in 80 fow trolled around looking for the fish. radio chatter was a bit much with people getting upset with other boats. but alot of people we boxing fish in the 60fow to 80fow we stayed out in the 80s to 120 to try and stay way from the crowded water we had our first hit on a rigger with a mag mod carmel dolphin down 82 fought the monster to the boat where it turned and snapped 25lbs test. so we set a spin doctor with a fly "i have no idea the name of the fly" down to 92 down on rigger and it went off twice. boxing both kings one 13 and one 18lb. we set a UV mixed veggie down 40 on a rigger and it went off the fish came right to the boat the decided to run under the boat and get into the prop of the motor again was a very large fish. if we had to guess the 2 we lost were in the 20lbs area. we headed home with 2-4 and it was nice to get out there.. Im sure there are other reports that will be more helpful than this one but it was a good day on the water!

Happy Fathers day to all the dads out there..

A special thanks to Ken for all the help he has given me the past couple days. :thumb:
