i took 4 fish on a mountain dew spin with a green crinkle fly on my swr last night in 85 fow with rigger set at 65 got one laker and 3 kings on that one rigger

If your really having problems staying shorter on the leads will help. Seperation will help as well. Maybe run the flashers on the divers and more spoons on the riggers?

If you start with 15 feet seperation on the riggers and leads short you would need really wicked current or to drive in complete circles to tangle them.

Get a 2 color leadcore with a spoon on your deepest rigger, once its down there it cant tangle in anything and it will catch you some fish.

Im Looking to get a new unit i currently run an old bottom line tournament but i dont dont have GPS on this boat and Thats a must have on the big pond

im looking at a Eagle fishelite 640c i found one for $399 on sale it says orig $599 is this a decent unit?? or do any of you know about this unit should i wait and save up some more for a more exp or should i say better unit? if this one will do the trick let me know your thoughts and Thanks in advance:thumb:

I hear ya on the belt issue, i had one break few yrs ago and had to get towed in by CG and thats no fun.. i now keep a new spare belt onboard And sorry to hear about the rod:eek:

I have taken a few nice ones on my swr runnin about 10 ft off the bottom with a happy meal and a lemon ice those two were over 20lbs and dipsy with green/crush spin or mountain dew spin with pickled sunshine has been really hot, not as big of fish yet but still got a few 15 lb,rs on that set up ive run short leads around 36" and i have hard time keepin that one down in the am

BW Rubber poofster combo has been good along with pickled sunshine on a white green spin doctor.

Orderd the bw poofster combo thursday night hopefully gets here this am i wanna get it in the water:thumb:

Great Job, Yea those big ones are wierd i thought i was snagged when i hooked on few myself i got a 21 and a 24 lb in last couple weeks once they hey hit they just run like crazy than they stop but dont budge they didnt really fight after that but wouldnt move either , just gotta let em wear out and pull em in slowly like a ton of bricks

Fish were hittin everthing i put out yesterday, i dont think its necesary for an apoligy if you are boatin 20 fish thats just a great day it might not have been easy on the body reelin all them in but i understood what ya meant:thumb:

These are what i have been running on my dipsy,s last few weeks, i would def run a pickled sunshine i have went threw 3 of em in last month they have been getting hammerd

Nice fish, I was out yesterday morning. Went 8 for 10, all small kings in 120-160fow. Wish I would have fished shallower water.

Had a Decent Morning with my daughter and a buddy, started setting Lines around 7am in 65 fow got out to 75 fow and the rigger went,swr down 50 with flounder pounder 21lb king, while reelin in this one the other rigger went down 40 dont know name of spoon its a light green glow with like a blueish/silver ladderback, this was also a nice fish but it came unbuttoned after about 5 min, soon as it came off the dipsy goes, back 130 blue/crush spin with blue bubble fly 16 lb king get that in and about 20 min later the other dipsy fires, Back 110 Green/Crush spin with pickled sunshine fly that was a smaller king didnt weigh it, get it set back out and it goes again this time its a steelie, i guess i can shorten this up a bit, the dipsy with pickled mirage went two more times 15lb king and a smaller one, also got a about a 8lb on fullcore with lemon ice spoon, this was all between 75 and 80 fow ended up 7 for 9
