I am not sure if it is working. I tried to add this site to their networks, but I get an error. Checked their support area and they are having issues right now and are working on it. Once they resolve their issue, I will add this site to their networks.

Great Lakes Fisherman is now on Tapatalk.
I do not have Tapatalk. Can someone who has it verify that its working?

Would there have been more interest if the venue was further west?
That would probably be the case. We tried to do it in the central part of the state to draw people from both sides of the state. We also combined it as a walleye/salmon seminar.

Looks like a nice truck Jon. Have to ask yourself.....will you miss the inside room you had in the expedition?
Do you really need an F-350, or can you get away with a F-150 or F-250? Need to also check on the cost of insurance and plates.

Cons:
Years ago, we had an expedition. This is our second truck after the expedition, and I still miss the enclosed rear cargo. I could add a cap or a cover for the back of the truck, but thats not my thing, plus its not heated.
Takes 8 quarts of synthetic oil for oil changes.
It does run on 87 octane, but mine runs better 93 octane.
Because its a new motor, after market accesories/hop ups are more expensive.

I have a 2010 F-150 with the 6.2L(411hp) in it, and love it. My right foot is abnormally large and has a tendancy to PUSH on the petal. I average 12.5mpg with it. We raced in Lansing one week, and I hauled our 20' trailer with it(trailer brakes are nice), and we averaged 8.5mpg. <---I had the cruise set at 80mph. We road tripped it to Traverse City(no trailer), and I set the cruise at 65mph and we topped 17mpg with it. The mpg all depends on how hard you push on the go fast pedal.
The pictures in the yard are the closest thing to offroad my truck has seen, and it has never seen a snow flake. It gets stored all winter.

I read it as soon as Frank made the post. Everyone wants to know whats happening which is why I left it.
I would prefer that only Dave start threads in this section in the future.

Looks like you had a GREAT week at deer camp! Hopefully next week is just as good.

We wish the best for the GLA magazine and the new owners. Its great to hear that you will be a part of it! The GLA magazine would not have been the magazine it was without you. Every ship needs a captain, and you did a fine job at the helm!
You are always welcomed here, and we look foreward to your arcticles in your blog.

BIG BUCK DOWN. Finally redeemed myself for earlier this year when I barely skimmed a giant 8 point (actually larger than this one)' date=' but I am super happy.
First 8 point of my life. 170 yards with muzzle loader on opening night at about 5:15. Went about 70 yards and did the "death spiral" - AWESOME. I was shaking for a half hour I was so excited.
Nice job Mark. Unfortunately, there is no date stamp on your photo so your entry is not valid.

Nice job Mark!

that is very cool. Is it turn over silt? what makes it cloudy?
A storm like what came through last week will make it be cloudy. Run off from a hard rain will also enlarge the plume.

Nice job Bob!

There is a link in the upper navbar with a link to the satellite images of the lakes.

I'd like to add pdf files I've created to my postings at times but can't seem to find out how on the website.
Can anyone point me to instructions I've missed on post attachments other than pictures, videos and website address links?
The attachment option has been disabled. This was done to prevent someone from uploading malicious software and such as an attachment.
Images have to be uploaded to the gallery here. After they are uploaded, images can be shared on any website.
