The churches walleye boards work well with power pro. As for the rods, make sure the eyes are stainless or titanium. They say copper will eat up ceramic guides.

Jim dont forget about leadcore. If two of you are fishing in Michigan, you can run three poles each. Adding two leadcores on planer boards will improve your odds and get a different presentation out there for the fish that may not like a downrigger or dipsey.

flasher flys and spoons work all year for me. Ill try jplugs late July and August on the loeadcores. Going to add some copper this year.

what location do you attach the dive bomb? In the middle of the LC?

I have an HDS7 and it worked great last year. Has so many features I still dont know how they all work yet.

I just bought some Basspro ss-30 reels for copper. They have no problem with 300' of copper and they only cost $49

I use the ez steer with a murcruiser IO and a 9.9 kicker. It works great
