Decided at the last minute to go for one last fishing trip. Called a buddy and we were on the water by around 10AM. Lake was a little rougher than we had planned, 3-4' waves. We trolled out to about 120FOW and back in to 80. Never had a bump in 3 hours of washing lures.

Went out Saturday morning and headed south of the nets in 130FOW. Set lines. Landed one 10# laker and one 2.5# coho. Lost another monster that straightened out the snap swivel.

Went Sunday night and trolled north to 220FOW. Stayed right there between 220 and 275. went 4 for 4. (2) 10# and (2) 5.5# kings.

Went Monday night and attempted to get back to the North 220 FOW location from the night before but rough water kept us from getting there. Waves were 5-5' with whitecaps on top. After an hour of POUNDING, I went down to set lines in 130FOW only to find both downrigger weights had snapped off during the run out. Switch out electric riggers for manual, back into fishing. Ended up 0 for 1. Had one monster hit a bloody nose fly off a dipset set 150 back. Apparently drag was set too tight and he broke the 50# leader.

Hoping to get out either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Left Great Lakes Marina at 5:30 PM and had lines in the water by 6:00 PM.

Set lines in 110FOW. Trolled for an hour and a half around that depth with nothing going. Decided to pull lines and head out to 220FOW. In 190 we got our first fish, 8# king, 70 down on a rigger. Next 2 came on Moonshine spoons on the riggers 55 and 65 down. Fish seemed to shut off around 9PM. Ended the night 3 for 5.
