  1. It was July 1983, I went out with my dad, one of his friends and a great man that showed us a great time. He has since longed past away, but with every trip I make I know that he is my boat and helps me cath fish when others are not. Rest in Peace, and we will fish together soon, Captian Hector.

  2. There is a little shop outside of Holton that does a great job at about 1/2 of the price of any were else. I had them replace the vinyl windows and it only cost $125 and they also replaced some snaps that were broke at no charge. It is called Mast Canvas Shop.

  3. Had great day on the water even if the cooler was not as full as it could have been. I took Three first timers out and thier ages were 14, 12, and 11. They went 1 for 8, but they are NOW hooked for life:grin:. We had fish on right away and for the first hour it was as busy as I have been alll year. Set up in 50 fow and went out to 90 fow. Here is the run down on the events.

    2) Moonshine night crawler 40down - Lost

    3) Mirage Fly & NBK Flasher 135 - Lost

    4) Moonshine night crawler 40 down - Lost

    5) Wonder Bread J-Plug on 6 Color - 9lb Steelhead

    6) Blu/Glow Fly & Blue SD 150 back - Lost

    8) Stinger Freaky Veggie 55 down - Lost

Would have stayed out longer but I was a little under the weather, but i did feel a lot better to see the smile on their faces when they were fighting the fish. The Statement of the day was " How do You put the BOBBERS on the line" :D

  4. I fished this weekend out of Ludington in the Gander Mountain Offshore. We had bad luck on Saturday ending up 5 for 12 if it could wrong it did. We fished south of the project in 100 -120 fow water and 70 - 90 feet down. All of the fish that were landed were on Carmel Dophin we ran 4 form them. We lost two on a NBK Flasher and Fly combo just came unbuttoned, lost one on Blue 10'' spin doctor and mirage fly that was a rookie on that rod:rolleyes: and rest i lost track. Sunday was tough for us we boated all 6 hits we had but for the fished we marked and drove though we should of had more. We worked the same area, but ran higer in the water due to the marks on the graph. Two of the fish came on Moonshine NightCralwer 45 down, One Stinger Freakin Veggie 50 down, One on a Wonder Bread J-Plug 30 down and two on Stinger Steelie Stomper 20 down. We ended up 75th out of 137 boats. There is always next year.
