Congrats on a great time at Platte- I've been wanting to reminisce and go back up there some time but just have not done it yet. The combat fishing you experienced reminded me of fishing there in the late 70s, early 80s. (at that time I lived in Traverse) Fishing for cohos was crazy good as long as you did not play bumper boats. When you can count around 250 boats in a 360 degree head spin- there will always be many that don't know how to drive and fish. Those drop offs are steep. -

Great night last night out of Muskegon. Headed north a few miles- in to around 60'- out to 90' marked nothing. 8:00 finally caught our first fish. Kept changing lures, finally put a green j plug out on 5 color and that worked, so put another plug on 7 color. Glow spoons on riggers at 35 and 45' down Mainly hit them at 100' of water. Last fish at 9:30.
