    Thanks for the advice. The new clamps have arrived and I am bit confused. Are these to replace the release at the “front” of the board or the one off the rear?     Expanding my TTP( tactics, techniques, and procedures), Army terms[emoji6][emoji23], to include planer boards. I have order the 9.5” off shores boards. Bass Pro had a recommended buy of the planer boards snapper release Is this needed/worth the $20 each? TIA!     I want to thank those that responded with the good advice etc. I was unable to buy a bite this week on the LM or Spring Lake. Normally I have been about to put together a pretty good trip with 10-20 bass per day on the little lake. This week I got 1 bite and missed the fish. I had some rigger pops on LM this week so I’ll call them bites but nothing made it to the cooler. Enjoy the rest of your summer and I’ll be back next year! I told my fishing partner I’m selling all my gear and never going again!     I stopped in at Lakeview Bait and Tackle in Grand Haven. One of the guys there ., John, is selling all of his personal lures etc as he can’t fish the big water anymore. The back of his car is stuffed with spoons, paddles, flies, j-plugs… I got 6 mag spoons, spin doctor paddle, and a few horses flies for $40 Stop in and see what you can’t live without!     Sorry to keep copying the post but the dang app/iPhone won’t let me do a straight reply I need a road map to all these spoon descriptions![emoji23][emoji23] We tried to get out this morning but it was too lumpy.     Thanks! The fly I was using today was blue. The body is off the shelf from Jann’s tackle. It looks white in the are but turns kind of an irredesent blue like it is lite up with UV light.     Hi Ya’all New to this forum and trolling the big water. Recently got a Tracker Tundra and I have set it up for trolling. Got a pair of manual downriggers installed. Also have a couple of dipsey’s Went out from Grand Haven this morning ing (7/15) in the rain. Blanked for the day after 4 hours. Fished 50-60’. For a 1.5 hours then moved to -about 100’. Green spoons and flies. 50-60’ down. Given the choice should I stay at GH, or move south to Holland or Port Sheldon? We are on vacation for the week on would like to get something in the boat. Also tied up some meat rigs. I brought some Yellow Bass we caught, that I cut and brined. Plan to try those tomorrow Any advice is appreciated.
