We were fishing out of Winthrop Harbor,Northpoint Marina I think the water is still very cold up north near Wisconsin border and the weather with that east wind didn't help. Thought about coming down to Burns ditch or the lower end of lake, I'm sure water is warmer already Marked lots of fish just no takers

Friday was a very slow day on the lake. Surface temps were between 42 and 50 at the harbor. Did not catch anything. Other fisherman we talked to also had a bad day. We threw everything at the salmon and nothing would work. we marked a ton of fish out in 30 to 40 ft . Most of the fish were 15 to 30 down. Hope to try again soon. even the planner boards did zip Just wanted to post FYI
