I just started running flashers last summer so I really can't comment on the performance at different times of the year but I have tried to attacha couple of photos of the King I caught in about 85' of water off Kettle Point in late July the first day I started running 8" flashers (EChip) and trolling flies. Also had a 15 lbs. Laker earlier in the day off the same combo. These were caught on the downriggers with 2 colours of lead. Only tried this approach twice last year and I was running a diver, flasher, fly combo off one side of the boat but didn't have any luck although I am sure that combo will prove itself given a little more exposure.
