  1. Motorguide 36 volt Great White Digital Trolling motor. Came with my boat and I don’t use it. Brand new condition. Previous owner used only a couple times. $600.00 obo. 715-966-0318. Phone calls only please.
  2. I've got a 2008 Yamaha 9.9 kicker, long shaft. Like new condition, with all controls for cockpit mount. I bought it this winter, but ended up getting a different kicker for less money. I am the second owner. This motor came off a 621VS because the owner wanted an mercury kicker to match his main motor. Asking $2300 for everything. I can get some pictures out later, but it looks brand new. 715-966-zero-3one-8
  3. I recently bought a 22' StarCraft Islander with a I/O. Currently has one electronic, automatic bilge pump. I have two questions: Is there any preventative maintenance to be done on these bilge pumps (ie disassemble and clean)? I'm also researching and planning on buying a back up high capacity manual bilge pump (Beckson Thirsy-Mate High Capacity Super Pump w/4' Intake, 6' Outlet) which states it is "high capacity" at a pump rate of 30gallons/minute. Also comes with a price tag of $252. Any recommendations and/or comments?
  4. Any recommendations on kicker motor bracket brands/models? I have a 2009 T9.9 Yamaha and I plan on mounting on the back of a 22.5' StarCraft Islander. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks, Matt
  5. In this electronic age, anyone have a recommendation for a good weather app? Looking for something that includes expected wave height, etc. I downloaded a NOAA app, which has everything except that.
  6. Looking for four manual downriggers. Preferably Cannon or Big Johns. Would like two longer armed downriggers for the sides and two short arms for the back. 715-966-0318
  7. Not drunk...it was a very rare brand of retriever cod.
  8. I'm pretty sure they were the Lerwick or Aquafoil bib and jacket set...couldn't find my exact set online. I spent a couple hundred dollars on them in a sportshop up in Alaska. Anything that's made out of the PVC/PU material should be good though...keeps you warm, very easy to clean and does not hold any smell...as proof (if the link below works) my raingear still smells like new.
  9. Definitely recommend the Grundens or Helly Hansen rubbers over any Gore-Tex type suit. I have a Helly Hansen suit...keeps me warm and dry and they've held up to many weeks of halibut/cod fishing trips in Alaska.
  10. Great info, really appreciate it. I'm definitely going to get a survey done.
  11. I'm getting into Great Lakes fishing and have been looking at boats for the past few months. Found a '96 Sportcraft model (see title) for about $15K. Low hours (~350), Volvo 5.7 V8 I/O, Volvo outdrive with dual prop. New Lowrance GPS and Furona Fish finder. Doesn't come with much fishing gear. After looking at pictures and talking to the owner, everything appears to be in excellent condition. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice/opinions on this brand of boat and motor combination. Good boat? How's it handle rough water? Anything I should be wary of with that particular model? Also, it doesn't have a kicker motor so would putting a trolling plate on the outdrive be worth it until I could get a kicker (1-2 years)? Thanks in advance for any info.
