I am new to this site and looking for answers on what wire line & polesare best to use?

where do you fish now?I just started fishing for salmon out of Muskegon at the end of the summer. I have not been out in a few weeks. I believe i've missed the channel fishing for the adult fish. I was hoping someone could set me straight on that. I still want to go out for the younger salmon and steelhead, or maybe lakers or browns. I just don't know how far out i need to go, or how i should fish them. Will be fish close to the pier, or will i haqve to go deep? Do i use the same spoons and fly combos i did good on earlier in the summer, or do i need to use more plugs. Ihave not yet tried meat rigs, should i be using them now? Do i fish deep or shallow and do i change my speed. Any advise would be awesome!!!!
