  1. This morning I fished on a charter with Captian Vince Pannucci aboard The Saint. What a great experience!! We finished the day 15 for 25+. We caugth 12 Kings, 1 Atlantic, a 28 inch walleye and a 29.5 inch walleye. We were mostly trolling the channel with Tommic's (sp?) pearl with black dots. If i were fishing in my boat we probably would have struggled for a fish or two because I wouldn't think to look in the channel this early in the year. (I guess that's why they are the pros). B
  2. HELP. I have a Lowrance LCX-18 that had worked perfectly up until last weekend. That is when when it blew the power fuse. I have checked power cord for nicks, I checked the voltage into the unit and it is 12V. The connections are clean. The unit continues to blow fuses. A friend of mine has the same unit on his boat, so I removed the unit and tried it there; it blew the fuse on his boat as well. I contacted Lowrance and they told me that technology has made many changes and that they no longer had parts to repair that unit. (But they were more than willing to give me a rebate if i were to purchase a new item.)The unit is about 4 years old. I am wondering if any of you know of a company that can service the LCX -18? Thanks Brian
  3. Thanks for the Pentwater reports. I will be heading up there for the week of the 11th to the 19th. Hope to see you up there. Keep up the good reports:grin: Brian
  4. I was running my leads kind of long, anywhere from 20 to 30 feet from the ball.
  5. Set rods in the rain at 6:30. Finished 7-9 at 10:00. Never went deeper than 50 feet. Stayed between 40 and 50 feet and never went more than a 1/2 mile out of the pier heads. Dipsy's 60 feet out set on 1 and 90 set on 3 pulling J-plugs produced 3 fish, 2 fish hit a flasher bloody noose fly. Riggers 27 and 33 feet pulling J-plugs enticed the other 3 bites. Boat traffic was very light due to the poor weather. Great morning on the pond.
