Well I know less about salmon fishing than you. I new to this site. I was born in key west and grew up all through Florida. I know how to fish but just learning salmon fishing. Go to school! My dream is a key west charter captain. But how are you going to buy that boat without a degree? U think 5 bucks is alot for a spoon. Look at a marlin teaser sit up once. Education before fun. ........ look at most captains.... they didn't get that big boat being a mate

What color and pound power pro should i use for braid divers? Does color matter? Should i use 300 yards?

I bet no one rushes to that 20 color when it gets ripped. I know I would look the other way!

And my buddy needs big Jon bases so I'm gonna email tony and place one order for 2 big jon. Holders and 3 swivel bases. I thank everyone for the feedback. I will be picking up my riggers from nailer tomorrow so ill have a big part of what I need. This sport is very addicting.

Yea I will defanitly go big Jon I got alot of other things I need so if I can save 5 bucks that's another spoon I can buy so every dollar counts.

I'm on a very limited budget was wondering if the tite lok adjustable rod holder wil.l work for dipsys or lead core. I'm getting down riggers from ken this weekend, and I have a set of big Jon holders that came with boat. Just wondering why they are so much cheaper
