I have been trying the polomar but like Erik said I am having a problem cinching it up. I have been useing the snell on the salmon flies but for the peanut flies that knot wouldn't work so well.

I am switching my trolling fly leaders over to 50 lb fluorocarbon and i am using a single treble hook. I was woundering what kind of knot to use when tying to the treble hook.? Thanks Scott

Thank for the help i think i will go with the tdr rods. Has anyone had any luck with the cabelas planner board rods?

I was wounder what rods you use for lead core? I was looking at the shimano rods and i see they have a leadcore rod and a planner board rod. What is the real difference between the two? Thanks Scott
