I thought they clipped the adipose fin on Skamania's?

I am using Church Walleye boards with a superline backing. Would you not get a few extra feet of depth out of it if you let out 50-100' of backing? This is a debate I am having with someone I work with and that is why I asked the question. Thanks for the replies.

Nice site with lots of good information. When attaching an inline planer board to your lead core line, how far behind the lead core do you attach the board?
