  1. Well this is a slippery slope. I'm sure in somewhere there is mention of price and how long you will be out on the water. 5 hours, or limit of fish. Seems pretty cut and dry. I like your view on not catching and releasing, good conservation. Here's a thought, if people feel as though they are getting the short end of the stick you could cruise around for a while, anchor and go look for perch. Or worse case change your policies to say LIMIT OF FISH with no mention of time. Nice work out there....

  2. Fished Whitehall on Friday night for the 1st time ever. It was tough fishing but we had a great time. 2/4 both kings, one 15# and one 16# very nice looking kings. One rip on a dispy w/meat rig #3 set back 220, missed that one. Double header on leadcore, 7&10 color side by side, landed one lost one, purple spoon. Last rip on a DR 36 down with a canadian plug, yellow back, purple with poka dots. We were all the way out to 250 but less then 100 seemed better, apparently the lake has rolled over, surface temp in 100 was 54*. Good Luck, I would be the fishing will only get better...

  3. I was just conversing with my neighbor. He was telling me he bought some gas up the road at a Sunoco station and paid for 5.2 gallons of gas and only pumped about 4 and some change into his 5 gallon gas can. There is a mark on the tank where 5 gallons is and it was nearly 2" below the mark. Some people. :angry2: Times are tough enough, now what, you have to 2nd guess everything.

  4. Yup, good job Frank. We didn't set anything on fire this weekend. Somewhat of a late start on Saturday, the 2 of us only landed six, and lost a pig about 40 feet from the boat. Maybe a while before I'm able to get back out, but I may ring you on the telephone and hook up with you here soon. Nice Job....

  5. I have noticed that they need to be setup differently according to your presentation. ie..if you are using leadcore the weight needs to be adjusted accordingly, as the board will track a little different. Also true if you are using BB & harnesses, inline weights, or snap weights. It just takes a little monkeying around for the boards to track through the water the way you want them to.

  6. That's great GLF. You must have enjoyed yourself over the weekend:grin: I would save your money on the tattle flags and make it yourself. I did last year and it was super easy. A spring, some ceiling grid wire, and you're all set. Work like a champ.

  7. I will give this a try. I assume you can buy the eyes at any fishing store? I would rather try to repair this then by a new rod. And would definitely like to repair this before I lose a fish to it also....
