I have been trying to get out as much as I can but finding it difficult with all the rough weather, it seems like you have a few hours while the wind changes direction so you have to be flexible. Anyhow, last week I landed over a dozen jumbo perch in the harbour on worms. Caught 2, 5 pound bows, both on NK pink & red. both 400 m off the breakwall. I was dragging a few different body baits and smaller spoons but the NK's were still producing. Still trying to get the eyes to bite, going to give some worm harnesses a try next Tuesday, weather permiting. I havent caught any in this area but there are fish stacked in the shipping channel but I have failed to bring anything to surface.
