  1. Sorry I can't read. It obviously says electric downriggers. Also could I see more pics. I would have to sell my boat first, but it looks like it would be a lot eaiser to transport than mine.

They are fishlander down riggers, the weight of the boat and trailer is around 4500 pounds, I fish this boat with Tyler and it's very easy on the wallet for fuel.

    Capt Rob.

    Seabee Charters.

  2. :thumb:Trust me I know this boats condition I worked my a?? on it, fished it several time trolls great and is very easy on the wallet for gas. well worth it. Tyler you forgot to mention how we plumbed the cooler drain out the side through a exsisting sea cock, no more cooler full of bloddy water.

  3. I totaly agree I am always up my kids teachers Butts when it comes in the teaching of history, and living by our constitution. I pray that we the people get off our complasent butts. (there are many men and women fighting for our rights) although we need more, I Hope it does not come to the point to another Civil War but I am ready if it does. Hopefully we can make some serious change come this November with fresh thoughts, and kick these carreer goat hurders the hell out.

  4. I am possiably taking a Engineering job in Iowa. What Port would be at the top of your list to relocate my business to. Kenosha, Millwaulke, Racine, Port Washington. either of the ports would be about 250-300 miles from Cresco Iowa.

    Thanks.

  5. Call vinnie at cpatain gary's and tell him Rob from seabes charters refered you 1-231-206-3508 he is within 10 miniutes from any launch in Muskegon well maybee 20 he is off of Whitehall rd. in North Muskegon.

Here is some answers to your questions, but keep in mind that nothing has been finialized yet, and we are seeking you opinion so we can come up with the best set of rules. Also we are leaning heavily towards the LOC rules because of the great job they are doing and there experience.

We definatly want to include the port of Muskegon fisherman but we need a tackle shop or store that wants to be involved with weighing fish. If you know someone thats interested have them contact me.

The reason we stopped at Muskegon was we all live down here and the consensus is that Whitehall and north have bigger fish and that would be a real advantage. If this turns out to be sucsessful there has been talk of getting some northerner's involved an having a north and south division someday.

On-line lincense purchasing is being looked into in conjuction with the web site, and everyone on a boat will need a "derby" lincense for any fish to qualify. We have also discussed the possibilty of a way to "lincense" a boat for the season, but could not figure out a way that would work with Charters also coming into the equation.

Night fisherman would have to get to a weigh station the next morning.

Lie detectors are not a threat, some winners will be required to submit to them between the tournament close and before the awards ceremony. Unfortunate but nescessary.

  6. Slide divers in my oppion are the most versitle and put more fish in my boat when I am fishing water less than 80 feet of water, and they only diver I use on lake Erie. One thing to remember when fishing clean skinny water is the cone of Disturbance caused from your boat, that will push fish out to the side and then return back to center after you pass by, Thats why Slide divers work so well because of the long leads you can run, I run an average 50 feet lead from my lowest slide diver, and some times up to 100 on the high diver that is killer for steelhead. You can run a slide diver on a 6 setting and the diver will track true, one thing that is not possiable with a fixed diver unless you run a 30 feet lead, the distance from the diver to the bait act as a rutter I like to run a 4oz weight on the lowe diver, and standard 3oz weight on the high diver, and in Lake Erie I run the 2oz weight. I have worked with Slide Diver since there conception, and help with the development of the Lite bite feel free to contact me for an arsnal of tactics that can be applied running Slide divers.
