  1. The water level has remained at a fishable level averaging around 7,000cfs. Steelhead fishing has been slow but improved weather conditions will likely spark activity. Look from the Utica St. bridge toward the powerhouse using egg sacs, nightcrawlers, wax worms and minnows. Ice fishing anglers are taking perch from Wright's Landing and Lake Neahtahwanta has a very active crappie bite going on. Spikes and minnows are working for these species.

  2. Currently the river is high. Anglers are fishing for steelhead on the west side of the river using wobble glows with 3 to 6 foot leaders. The hot colors are peach and glow-in-the-dark with pink stripes. They are also floating choaker bags the size of a 50 cent piece below bobbers. Walleye are being taken on glow-in-the-dark paddletails, and 3/8 to ½ ounce jigs tipped with minnows.
