Racine 7-4-08 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My Dad came down from upper Michigan to fish with me on July 3 but we got BLOWN out so we decided to fish this AM. The only problem with that was we knew it was gonna be a short trip becasuse RACINE has a GREAT big PARIADE on the 4th every year and they close off MAIN street from about 730-till noon.....and we did not want to get stuck down at the lake front all morning..... Pulled into the boat landing at about 4:00 and relized the plug for the boat was at HOME....so we unhitched the boat and DAD went back to get it. Meanwhile I set up the rods and got the boat all ready...we finally dropped lines at 510 in 60fow straight East.....Ran 2 boards 2 wire divers and 2 SWR riggers.... 20 mins after the line were set First fish came on a Wire diver wirh a White blade and a LBB fly out 81 on a 2 set, took a Laker. As that one come to the surface the SWR with 50/50 white and black spoon spoon down 34...took a nice 7lb coho Then the next 3 fish came a SWR down 56 with a Cracked ice took 2 coho and a small king. At this time it was 0600 and we decided we did not want to get trapped by the pariade so we pulled line and as well popped the swr 50-50- black and white we took another NICE 7 lb coho.... Had lined pulled at 610 and headed in with 6 for 6 and fish cleaned and boat put away in the drive by 800.... Speed was 2.0-2.2 on the Raider Water temp was 49 down 30 in 60 FOW
