This event is the ONLY time you will see anything but a Stinger spoon on my boat! I had an exercism performed on my fishing gear and boat after the event.
I need to say "Thanks" to Glen and Greg for joining me in this event on the Pirate ship GLF. No one had to walk the plank for loosing fish. We lost the one fish because it wrapped up in the wire on a wire diver.
Arrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!
hopefully they were able to keep the fish behind the boat:)

sounds like you really hammered em on those dreamweaver lures:)

Thanks for the reply, I would have bought a F250 diesel had the fuel cost been cheeper. I drive my Expedition truck 65 miles a day and its not horrible on gas, I average 15-16mpg and so far what little I have towed my new boat it has not been too bad. The test will be hauling up to Muskegon this weekend. I have now rebuilt the entire top end of the engine in my boat and I will be testing it out on Thursday in prep for the Dreamweaver CFT on sunday. I am EXCITED!!!! Thursday will only be the 2nd time I have had this boat on the water, I need to get my programs set. I haven't even powered up and used my new Lowrance fish finder yet
how did the boat shake down for you?any problems?

after the just married thing i wonder if there will be any swabbing of the poop deck on that boat:lol:
-

I mainly use my Walleye Boards for Lead Core and I have set the weights as far forward as possible. The lead core pulls down on the back of the board so by moving the weight forward the front of the board can dig in and get out further from the boat.
thats exactly what i was thinking.i was just hoping i wasnt out in left field on that.thanks
-
10 minutes to fishermans landing.
-
how do you guys set up youre planer boards as far as the weights are concerned.is it strictly by wave action or do you set them as far forward as possible(assuming that gets it to the side of the boat more)i would like to get mine as far to the side as possible without going so far back.
-
mike,
i know all about the walleye deal.i went out and bought a 16 foot boat 4 stroke motor, auto pilot trolling motor and all kinds of gear....and i hardly go..isnt it great?
