Hi All, if you are ever interested in fishing in Quebec there's a great place to stay on in Gracefield, Quebec, just an 1.5 north of Ottawa (the capital). The cottages are located in an area that used to be run by an Outfitter, Whitefish Lodge Outfitter. Since the pandemic the cottages went up for sale and they've been renovated to modern standards. More importantly the fishing is amazing up here. The cottages are on Heney Lake which has an abundance of bass, pike, trout, and perch. What's more, there are tonnes of other lakes within 45 minutes of the location so you can have your choice. The region is a well kept secret. Many have been doing the drive from PA, MD, NJ and even TN. Although the fishing guide operator is no longer operating he still lives on the grounds and can help you out with information on where to go and maybe even rent you a boat.
