Well I had 13 card players that showed up to play a game of Texas Holdum. I like to thank Huntingfool43, Rdfishin and wife, Bluedevil and, Sea-mac for coming over to play some cards and thanks for the nice dinner dishes that you past. The food was very good and so was the company and I hope that I will see you all again. Hello Member's, Well I started off the weekend by going with my father in law and a friend from work to go ice fishing at Leach Lake in Barry Co. Fishing was not very good at all that afternoon and evning hours. Out of us three fisherman we probly only took 20 nice bluegills. We used wax worms and spikes and nothing would want to bite good at all. I used a orange moon glow ice hook and a white ice hook with two spinners on it. Saturday morning the same two guys went out with me at 6am in the morning and marked tons of fish but they just looked at the hook and turned away. All of us together took 45 nice gills using wax worms and spikes. My hottest color hook was the orange moon glow. The water was kinda merky at Lower lake in Barry Co., so that was probly why they just was not bitting good. Well member's hope that you all had a better weekend fishing than I did fishing. Hello Member's, Well when is your favorite time to fish on the great lakes? Well my favorite time is at night when there is not to many fisherman out fishing and I have the lake to myself. When I fish at Frankfort, there has been alot of times when everyone is coming back in and I will go out fishing till 3am and have alot of luck. Hi Ford, I hate nets period and will not fish around them at all. But there was two times last year at Muskegon that I found some to the north and didnt like that at all. About 17 years ago I was fishing with a friend at Manistee and the net was not marked very good at all. I seen the white flag out there about 75 yards and stayed away from it. Well guess what........ We happen to get caught in it anyways and he could not beleve how far away we was. I remember that day he lost a rigger, cable, broke a rod, and lost a bunch of lures. He was not a very happy captain. rich

Hello Member's, Well I called up a couple friends to try and catch some pike and bluegills for dinner. The lake we fished was a private lake called Lower lake in Barry Co. Fishing was very slow but we marked tons of fish all afternoon long. I caught 15 nice gills and no pike tonight. The bait I was using was wax worms with a orange ice hook. Well the way the ice looks like now. We will be ice fishing for a long time. So get out there and catch ya some bluegills for supper. Good luck, Caznik
