Make it Count

I used to own a boat, sold it bought camper.  Would like to get back into the shore / pier fishing again.  Would like some suggestion of beach and pier fishing poles for steelhead and salmon.  Not look to drop a ton of money.  I know that Northwood in Linwood michigan has good poles and feels.  Any suggestion would be helpful. Also medium weight or should I go to a medium light or medium heavy?   Thank you guys for any info...  PAUL

Does anyone launch at the DNR site in Muskegon ? I haven't this year because in the spring the water was so low. 21 ft StarCraft islander Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Is this launch low for water levels. Was going to launch out of Muskegon and that's where I normally launch but haven't been there in a month and a half. 22 ft star craft islander. How shallow is it anyone know? Thank you.

Thank you for the info guys I know that muskegon in the channel was 18 inches down and that was what concerned me. I love this site. Good people. Going to head out Saturday morning.

Haven't been out of PS this year is the launch really low like other are? Anyone have a 22 ft glass boat that has launch out of PS. Thank you for any reports.
