Went out Sunday morning at daybreak til 10 casting glow in the dark spoons. No bites.

Stopped by 6th Street Dam in Grand Rapids on the way home. Saw some fish but no one was hooking up.

Am I too early, too late, wrong lure..?

Fished the south pier with glow in the dark spoons from 6-10p.m. Saturday; no hits. Didnt see anyone else hookup.

Hey Adam, how did your new waders hold up?

My $130 Gander Mountain neoprenes are starting to leak after about 4 years of duck hunting and fishing. They treated me right but curious about other brands.

I didn't have time to go to the bait shop so I ended up using a 1/2 ounce silver spoon. It was a great snaggin lure but only one was hooked in the mouth out of about 12 in an hour. It was a lot of fun, those things can really fight hard when hooked by the tail, etc.
