Hi Toanton

I have had alot of success in Lake Erie, fishing for Rainbows and Walleyes with the dreamweaver SS's and Northport Nailers !! :good:

Also I like the Wolverine JR Streaks for Walleyes behind dipseys.

Good luck, you seem to have alot of great information here!!!

Anton,

I have a few questions to ask ya, so I can help you out.

#1- I see you have no down riggers.

#2- Do you use dispey rods?

#3- Do you use lead core?

#4- How deep do you fish?

1. This photo was from walleye fishing depth was around 10-20 feets, so I leave riggers at garage.

2. No, becasue I haven't space for them.

3. No, I use sinkers, but I ordered lead core & new reels for it.

4. When troll salmon dept under me around 100-150 feets.

One more question about rod holder for dipsy rod. Can I use ordinary plastic scotty rod holder for it ?

The Dipsys require a stout rod and a substantial rod holder. The plastic Scotty Rod holder is not up to this. I tried the Scottys for one season. I drilled and pinned them to keep them for popping up. I also tethered my rods, while using them. The next year I went with some BigJon rod holders. I was afraid I was going to lose a rod reel.:)
