St. Joe 6-10

[R-turn]

Got out for only a couple of hours 5-7pm. Started fishing in 80 feet of water. Marked fish so I stayed in the 85 to 75 range. Ended up 1 for 1, a small laker. The fish was on the downrigger 60 ft down on a monkey puke Dreamweaver. The water temp was in the 60's down to 50 feet. At the 60 foot mark it dropped to the 50's. Looks like summer fishing is here.

Fished from 6:00 to Noon.

Finally got my 15 horse kicker back after 3 weeks w/o.

Setup in 65 fow and worked out to 75fow; outside of 75 fow the down temp went up. So stayed in the 65 to 75fow.

Ended up 5 for 12 ouch... I know, hooks were sharp fish just weren't hooking up. 3 were gone before I even had a hand on the rod.

10th hit caught king 2 lb 12 oz 8 8 color lead core mag proking camo green w/glow ladder

12th hit caught steelhead 13 lb 6 oz dipsey setting 1/125 back green H.M. seaweed fly

There was a cold pocket of water there, probably gone by now w/ this warm day today???
