2MD
solid night! seems like going out of PS was a good choice and that fish must of been setup in there south of GH
Reel-y-hooked
It was pretty busy out front when we left the pierhead so we headed north hoping there would be some four-year-olds staging to run the grand river. Every once in a while, our strategy pays off.
jdh
Based on fish stocks, Holland Saugatuck and South Haven would have the most returning kings this year.
Reel-y-hooked
That should make for good fishing in our neck of the woods. It’s nice to see our part of the lake receiving good numbers of fish stocking. I imagine grand haven will be decent too due to wild fish returning to spawn. On a nice day it’s pretty easy to run up to the south side of GH and tap into that fishery.
zgrinder on Fin Warrior
Well done Randy. Very smart call to put down in skinny water just north where the kings might be staging. One of the two fish in your cooler look to be naturals - not sure about the one on top. Great data for our fishery. Keep on them and tight lines. Reel-y-hooked
Both of those fish had their adipose fin. We landed 3 clipped fish this season and turned the heads in to the dnr. I agree with the importance of the data. We have a fantastic fishery and I hope it continues. We will be on the water this evening hunting for big 4 yr olds.
