New Buffalo 5/11

Went out of New Buffalo yesterday, first time in a few years. We ended up 4 for 8, 2 lake trout, 1 king and 1 coho. Lost a very nice king right at the boat, oh well that's fishing. That fish hit a high line about 250' back with a silver blue deep diving body bait. The king we did get in, about 8 lbs, came on a fire tiger body bait off a in line board. The coho and a pig lake trout both hit the rigger about 25' down with a sweet corn spoon. The other lake trout hit a perch shad rap off a in line board. We were fishing in 30 to 50 fow from straight out from pier head to several miles north. Great day to be on the water!
