Open Boat Party Fishing in Lake Ontario

Are there any Charters that have Open Boat Party Fishing in Lake Ontario? I am interested in fishing in Lake Ontario NY, but cannot reserve an entire private charter. Please respond if you have any information.

Party boats are not popular on the Great Lakes. There are a couple for perch . Trolling is the best way to target salmon . You could contact some captains and offer to split the charter with some other folks . They often have just one or two people call that don’t want to pay for a trip by themselves.

I agree with you that you can contact the captain and arrange to go fishing on their boat. I saw people fishing there at such a boat party not so long ago. I'm not sure how common it is for such parties, but it was cool to watch them. I also just recently went to such a party for the first time and studied how to behave better there and what to wear. To be honest, at least it was a quiet party, but I liked being with these people and talking to them. There was really a lot to talk about and discuss. I even found new friends with the same hobbies as me.
