The Aquarius Project, run by students in collaboration with professional researchers from Chicago’s Adler Planetarium with help from the nearby Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum, is attempting a first in U.S. history: the recovery of meteorite fragments, or space rocks, from the bottom of a Lake Michigan.
