2001 Starcraft Superfisherman 196

Based in Rochester, NY this beamy very well maintained 19' 6" one-owner boat does it all. It is totally outfitted and ready to take on any freshwater species in any weather. Deep V to take on the lake for salmon. Bass casting platform up front and in back for Fingerlakes and Canadian bass/pike/walleye fishing. With over $10,000 worth of fishing extras, this boat comes fully loaded with everything you need to start fishing. Although this boat is made for fishing, it is also a comfortable family boat (floors and sides are factory carpeted) and comfortably seats five adults. Works well for water skiing and pleasure cruising. Even the wife and kids will be excited to own this boat.

125HP Mercury oil injected two stroke (four cylinders that drop down to two cylinders for trolling). Trolls down to a steady 1.2MPH for Salmon fishing. (trolling bags included for lake trout fishing).

74lb thrust Minn Kota electric trolling motor with extended shaft and detachable bow mount.

Three bank battery setup (dual 12V for trolling motor + starting/main battery) with on-board charger.

Factory custom trailer made for boat with new tires, new spare, oil bath lubricated bearings.

Factory four piece canvas top (top, back, 2 sides) doubles as a custom bimini top to keep the sun off your head.

Two large lighted livewells.

Furuno saltwater sonar in cockpit, Eagle depth finder in front with sonar mounted to Minn Kota electric motor for bass casting.

Lowrance X-15MT GPS with nautical maps/chips.

2 Cannon Electric downriggers, 2 Cannon manual downriggers - all with rod holders. All have quick-remove mounts. Including 6 cannonballs and custom storage holder.

2 heavy duty Big John 3-rod adjustable rod holders, numerous other rod holders throughout boat to hold all your trolling and casting rods.

Tons of storage lockers throughout the boat

Excellent sound system with AM/FM/CD/AUX IN radio/head unit, 400 watt Clarion Marine amplifier, Bazooka subwoofer, MB Quart Marine 5-1/4" front speakers, Pyle dash tweeters, Bowers & Wilkins marine box speakers for rear.

Raytheon Marine autopilot (presently not installed and may need repair).

Shakespeare Marine Radio with 7' antenna with collapsible mast.

Big John outrigger mast/reels with a pair of custom planer boards, pair of cannon planer boards and all the rigging.

8 Salmon rods including:

  • 5 Ugly stick trolling rods with Daiwa line counter reels
  • 1 Ugly stick lead core trolling rod with Penn 330 reel
  • 2 Daiwa Heartland wire rods with Daiwa line counter reels

Tons of spoons, plugs, J-Plugs, flashers, flies, divers, cow bells, peanuts, etc.

Custom detachable cleaning board - mounts to bow gunnels to clean fish out on the water.

Heavy Duty Ice/Drink/Fillet cooler perfectly fits up front between driver and passenger.

Custom interior night lighting and rear mounted spotlight to easily see those lunker walleyes without having to hold a flashlight, as you bring them to the boat and remove those hooks at night.

Remote controlled removable front spotlight.

Oversized green dock bumpers, green premium mooring lines, trolling bags, drift bags, large slip-ring anchor with 75' of line, water skis, tow rope and all the necessary items required by the coast guard including six life jackets.

Custom boat cover made for boat in 2001. Cover still functional and water resistant but will need replacement in several years.

I purchased this boat new and have had a ball customizing it and fishing it over the years. It's been wintered most years in a storage barn. Regretfully, I'm selling it because I just don't have the time to fish anymore like I used to. $15,800 firm.
