dan agnello
Maglip Body Baits Been watching a few fishing shows where they have been using Yakima Maglip body baits for lakers. Anyone use them? Success? Thanks, Dan
Hooter
Haven't targeted Lake Trout with them but, they work great for Steelhead!

FBD
I got a couple 3.0 and 3.5 just in time to have the rivers blow out. 3.0's seem small. Interested in burning them through scum lines as they're supposed to handle 4 mph plus, which the only plugs I've pulled that fast are jointed raps and fast tracs. seahawk
I used the 3.5 sizes on Crystal Lake out of Beulah Mi last summer and caught both Steel Head an Lake Trout. One of the Lake trout was over 13 lbs. Biggest lake trout I have caught on that body of water.
DIRTY DOG
The 3.0 map lips are amazing in the river for steelhead , and the 3.5's work awsome for lakes , run them short and the ball 5' off bottom.

seahawk
Thanks Terry. How far back are you running them behind the boat on the river? I guessing the same colors as Hot an Tots and Wiggle Warts?
DIRTY DOG
I generally run them if straight out the back around 40', if there on down rods around 30ish' and if off the boards between 20-30'. All based on water depth and current speed. And yes the same color schemes as you would with warts and tots, I do like a little more chartreuse with them for what ever reason, such as the mad clown.
