Wisconsin cutting Lk trout and not kings

The science says that the alewife are their side of the lake are doing a better job of reproducing. Makes sense that they would be willing to hold off on the king cuts on their side of the lake.

I found it more interesting that they did a pretty big cut in brown trout. I did not hear brown trout brought up for discussion or debate on this side of the lake.

Just shows the hypocrisy of the MDNR. They tell us we need to reduce predators, they cut huge amounts of kings but still stock huge amounts of Lake trout. Then they take the Lk Trout Wisconsin has cut and plan to plant them in Michigan waters. How is that good for the lake.

It's not good for the lake or Michigan's economy. I just won't be fishing lake Michigan anymore for kings unless they come back. Why would I,when I can go to lake huron and possibly catch 5 or more species of fish in a single outing. Might not catch very many but more than lake Michigan
