Dr Hook Posted July 13, 2016 Share Posted July 13, 2016 Set lines in 80 fow and began trolling SW. First hit was a steelhead in 120 fow on rigger 60 down on double orange crush. About an hour later 240 copper with Veggie Delight took a rip but went slack once the board came off. Things were looking bleak for the morning until we found the rookie had a banana on board. Deep sixed the banana and a short time later took a triple in 140 fow on what I'm presuming were 3 steelhead, but only landed 2 of the 3. Rookie had one on dipsey that hit like a king but never got close enough to see for certain. Don't know how he managed it but his fish spit the hook after it was played out on the surface. The dipsey was braid 200 back on 3 with UV Crush Spindoctor and Big Weenie Last Brunch Fly. The other 2 came on the 240 copper again and braid dipsey set to 3 225 back with green/glow Spindoctor with Rapture Grand Illusion fly. 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
