Holland Steelheaders Annual Cold Steel River Tournement

Well it's that time of year again. The Holland Steelheaders will be holding our annual river tourney this weekend on Dec. 6, this is open to any anyone that is interested as long as one of the 2 person team is a steelheaders member .

This is open to any river in the state of Michigan catch what you wish, only a 2 person Limet is to be kept and weigh your best 3.

Isn't any one interested in this tourney , the rivers are full of fish and the high water will be down this weekend , what's the hang up? Would more people fish it if it were open to the public instead of just steel headers? please comment we are trying to grow this tourney.

As Jimmy said, we are trying to build this up in participants , normally it's only 4-6 teams and we would like to see how big it can get.

So let hear some thoughts as to what you would like to see to help get more people invalved.

Too dang cold for my tastes, but I don't think you can do anything about the weather. And if you can then what the heck is wrong with you.

I think if you added a catch and release division with total length of your catch as the measuring stick that would get a few more folks interested. I know myself, I'm 95% catch and release in the river as I get my meat out on the lake in the summer. Just my 2cents. Sounds like a fun time though if I were free this weekend.
