Jack Osborn Posted September 5, 2014 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Sorry for the late post, but spent yesterday getting patched up. Went 3 for 4 on an evening trip. First was a 10lb steely on a Budweiser looking White/Red spoon I put down 50' on the rigger as a lark. A half an hour later came a nice king on the wire 115' back, green fly green paddle. He made a hard run to port at the end and I tore a muscle in my arm turning the boat quicker than I should have to compensate. I tried to bring him and the net in, but couldn't manage it. Just got settled when the other wire went (blue fly blue paddle) with a ten pound king on it. I pulled the rod but couldn't bring him in either. So my buddy caught him as well. We stayed in the 120' to 140' range from 5:00 till dark. Other than the medical issues a pretty good night. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
