Just Hook'n Posted July 19, 2013 Share Posted July 19, 2013 Interesting question - we run floods at dark because it's easier to see the poles in the riggers and dipseys go off - never thought about whether it attracts or detracts fish. In the ocean then run under water lights to attract bait fish - wonder if the floods have a silimar effect.....anyone know? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rascal Trophy Fishing Posted July 19, 2013 Share Posted July 19, 2013 I tend to agree Mark, attracting at nite in the ocean is not the same as trolling here. However, fishing off a pier or dock might make a difference for the positive. In trolling, the fish aren't going to see that light cause they are usually too deep.
