Paulywood
I was wondering what size shrink tubing to use and where you get it? Need to fix a copper rig and I haven't set one up yet. Thanks
1mainiac
Radio Shack has small packages I use 1.5mm thin wall for copper. on my rigger setup I use 3mm heavy wall with the glue. If you want a lot of it try this place http://www.heatshrink.com/heat_shrink_tubing/b2_3x_spl.asp
Nailer
shrink wrap is not a must, but helps if you have the time.
Priority1
They also make a paint on product. I think it's called liquid tape. It's available in the Auto Electrical area of Walmart. I haven't used it on any cable yet but I think it would work OK. It sure is handy sealing up electrical connection on the boat. One plus about the paint on stuff you don't have to have an open end to slide it on. A drawback would be the time it takes to cure.
