ftaborjr Posted September 4, 2012 Share Posted September 4, 2012 Fished west bay last week. Mostly lake trout but lots of good action. Did manage 6 salmon and lost a couple more. 85 to 110 down on riggers best, but took several on dipseys back 175-200, and 150 on wire dipsey. Fished north of Bowers Harbor not another boat in sight. Leafybug Posted September 7, 2012 Share Posted September 7, 2012 fishing out of northport has been pretty good as compared to further south into the bay. Night bite I've found is better. I've had good luck on moonshine happee meal, pink panties, and flounder pounders. For me, the bite has been all spoons no meat or flies. Best of luck to you, I'll be back in a week or so...
