Not only for us fisherman to easier access the lakes through our ports, but also for the native vegetation that helps our fish and wildlife. I do a ton of duck hunting and those phragmites are completely useless outside of cover for deer to hide in. Completely taken over areas where native vegetation used to be and waterfowl and shore birds once fed and dabbled. Hopefully the cycle will turn around sooner than later.
