As we went out the channel we saw a steelhead caught off the pier so we spent an hour in front and didn't get a hit. The water was 58 out front. We pulled and ran out to 70 fow. We went 3 for three getting a steelhead in 74 fow on a mountain dew spin doctor with a green/gold fly on a mag dipsy 150 out on 1. A 14 pound king came on the same set up in 80 fow. The same set up took a coho at 120 fow. At 10:00 we pulled and went back in front of the piers for two hours losing two steelhead before catching one on a pro king bumblebee on a rigger 30 down in 42 fow. The last fish was a Laker taken on a pro king red/silver on a dipsy 50 back on 3 in 22 fow. We hope to be back out in the morning. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
