prop nut Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 pull the prop check for fishing line on the prop shaft DO NOT REMOVE FISHING LINE FROM PROP SHAFT WITH OUT REMOVING PROP ALL WAYS PULL LINE OFF PARALLEL WITH SHAFT STRAIGHT AFT ITS USUALLY THE PROP SHAFT OR THE SHIFT ROD SEAL LEAKING Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sherman51 Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 you didnd say where the grease was, so im just throwing this in as an after thought to what youve been told. but sometimes the little screws where you put the grease in and the one to check the fluid level will leak. make sure you have the little tefflon washers on them if the prop shaft seal isnt the problem.sherman Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
