BlueCollarOutdoors
I saw an episode or Romanacks fishing 411, where they were using these directly off the dipsey diver and then running a spoon about 8 feet behind them.
jimbobber
ya me to, it just spins and does not impart any action to whats behind it so dont run a fly behind it ,they use them to attract the fish to the setup then run a spoon behind,Ive been thinkin about tryin one this year to,I have one but did not know how to use it til i saw it on romanacks show. ALLEYES
On Fishing 411 they had them behind Dipsey's. If you listen close I believe that they say the Dipsey bite wasn't good that day.

tltorrice
Yes we run them on the Tangle Factor all of the time. Big Al's Flasher. Usually run one on the starboard down-rigger in front of a meat rig. Sometimes off of a dipsy diver as well.
hear fishy fishy
I have run similar flasher in front of spoons on my riggers and caught Salmon and Lakers but not that exact flasher. I think it will work and plan on getting a couple.
ericjeeper
One could always drill a couple of new holes in the back just off center. That would give the trailing lure some toss. just a thought..

Priority1
Drill a couple of holes and try it. I'm thinking that it may not run well or the manufacturer would have done it. But what the heck give it a whirl and revert back to the original if you don't like it.
