rod tree question

Recommended Posts

Hi, You guys use the trees for the just the inline boards?

I stowe my net from time to time in the vertical tube, or the main of the tree. You can use these trees for big boards too.

Here is a pic I hope it helps. My trees are connected to the gunwales and the hard top. By pulling a SS detent pin they pivot towards the back for travel. They are made with 7/8 inch SS tubing and 2 inch SS tube. The brackets are constructed from 1 inch SS tubing. The 7/8 inch tubing fits snugly into the 1 inch tubing allowing it to pivot.:) I bought some black Titelock end caps to protect the rods and to give them a nice clean look.

Very Nice. Thanks for sharing your work.

It would be nice to have a hard top like that, would make adding trees and launchers a lot easier. On the other hand, I have a walk around cuddy and mounting the tree to the side of the cabin would mean the poles would be blocking the walk way in use.

Nice job Priority1..... ill be making my own set over the winter.

do you remember the cost of the 2" tubbing or did you just have it laying around?

I bought the 2 inch SS exhaust tubing on line. Here is a link. I had them cut to length for ease of shipping. http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/
