Fishsporttom Posted August 8, 2011 Share Posted August 8, 2011 Went for the perch 8-6 in South Haven first time in 20 years came home with half a dozen((INSTEAD OF 2 limits) . Water turned over to a cool 59 degrees, to cold for the fish and to cold to swim (and salmon gear back in Muskegon), despite the rain we still had a blast just being on the water. Would like to go again this week, so if anyone hears of the perch biting it would be greatly appreciated. With the price of gas and being a 70 mile trip gets pretty pricey.
