Killin' It Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 So over the past few years we have had at least one sheep head tourney on Lake Mac and they are always allot of fun.They are simple as simple can get too!!Weigh 1 fish ... winner takes all, you dispose of your own fish.In the past this has been a great way to get kids into fishing as for the most part Sheephead are easy to catch and can grow 15 plus pounds.I do not have a specific date in mind, however the rules are simple.2 man teams (Kids on the boat do not count towards the team)6 rod maxBait, trolling, jigging, bottle caps... whatever. are accepted means of fishing. Fish from 7 am and weigh in at noon.I am just trying to decide if it would be worth the time of setting it up.This open to Pier, Kayak, canoe, boat ect ect ect. Every one has a different way of looking at things. I have heard that the heavy meat strips along the back of them farm animals is quite good.
