Eyefull
Kind of a blooper clip here. This fish was coming in very nice, just like a water skiing walleye. Then Newtons law kicked in and the fish dug its head and threw the hooks back at me.8HLmszpB7q4
steeliebob
Been there, done that. I wish that I had a video last sumer a guy on my boat lands a nice 8 lb salmon. As he is unhooking the fish he gets hooked and the next thing that happens is the fish the slider and the other spoon all go overboard. As the fish hits the water the line cuts on the side of the boat and all is lost.

KJ pluggin
It's always frustrating when that happens Tony. I think most guys would be a bit hesitant of posting a blooper video, thanks for sharing.

DIRTY DOG
Bloopers are all part of the game , and another way to look at it is you got the best part out of it , THE FIGHT.
Priority1
Steelies are know for their ability to get off and they will.Personally I don't like rods pointing high encouraging a fish to come to the surface out of nets reach. To me it's a big disadvantage bringing a fish up the chute with rods skyward. Most probably do it that way. Fish are made to swim so I like them beneath the surface until they see my ugly face and the net.
Eyefull
One of the things on my to do list for this next year is to put together a full bloopers video, just like my other annual collection. Should be a good watch and a laugh to boot.
Priority1
Tony, If we filmed all our worst fishing moments and bloopers, we could probably sell movie rights.
