Frankfort Lodging For Fishermen

Looking for a reasonable priced place to stay for the benzie frenzy. its kind of last minute and i imagine a lot of places will be booked already, but just looking for a plce to stay for 3 guys close to frankfort where we dont have to pay an arm an a leg to stay. any and all recommedations would be welcome!

I've stayed at the Betsie River Campground before if you want to camp. They might be full though.

Lakes N Trails Motel is reasonable, cheapest I found in that area and the rooms are clean

I've also stayed at Lakes N Trails. It's reasonable, has a fish cleaning station and they let us use their freezer...they have one just for salmon fishermen. they do have a website as well.

Sunset Valley Resort in Arcadia (at the bottom of the M-22 hill) is real nice and $$ is reasonable. Kitchenette and cable TV, plus area to filet fish. About a 15 minute ride to Frankfort (auto). Also, most rooms have 2 beds and a sofa bed in the TV area. I have no connection to the Resort, but have stayed there yearly in August for the past 8-10 years.

I have stayed at a motel that is 2 blocks from the launch. They were reasonable and very clean . But I can't remember the name of it.
